Caterer Manager and Google (Calendar, Drive)
Caterer Manager publishes your events, deliveries and schedules in Google Calendar, and files your reports in Google Drive. Included from the Professional plan.
Updated October 4, 2026What the integration does today
- Google Calendar: CM creates “GT3” calendars in your company’s Google account (events, logistics, staff, birthdays and hires, one calendar per room) and keeps them up to date.
- Each entry carries the event number, name and customer, the venue address, the guest count, the logistics status and a link to CM; unconfirmed proposals are marked “Proposal”.
- Google Drive: any CM report can be filed in Drive as PDF, ZIP or a Google Sheet, on demand, through a scheduled automation, or as an automatic copy of every download.
- Files are sorted by report and month in the folder of your choice, which you can share with up to 20 addresses.
What flows
| Calendars | CM → Google. Events (except cancelled), deliveries, pickups, staff assignments, birthdays, room bookings. Updated seconds after each change, full check every night. |
|---|---|
| Reports | CM → Google Drive. PDF, ZIP or Sheets, under “chosen folder / report / year-month”. |
| Direction | One way: from CM to Google. Nothing is read from your calendars or files. |
What does not flow
- No sync the other way: an appointment added in Google does not reach CM.
- CM never writes to your main calendar and invites no one; you share the CM3 calendars yourself.
- CM neither reads nor edits your other Drive files: access is limited to the files it creates.
Plan and cost
Google Calendar and Google Drive are two modules included from the Professional plan. A Google account is enough.
Getting started
- 01 In CM, Settings → Integrations: the owner links a company Google account (one connection per organization).
- 02 Google Drive: choose the destination folder and, if needed, the addresses to share it with. Test.
- 03 Google Calendar: enable the integration, then tick the calendars you want; CM creates and fills them.
- 04 Each user can enable, in their preferences, the automatic copy of their reports to Drive.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Google Workspace?
No, a Google account is enough. In a Workspace company, the administrator may need to approve the app.
What if the Google account gets disconnected?
CM shows it on the integration page and pauses the sync until you reconnect. Nothing is lost: a full resync is available.
Can I pick an existing calendar?
No: CM creates its own calendars so it never touches yours. You can share them with the team from Google.
