Caterer Manager and Zapier

With Zapier, Caterer Manager tells your other tools when a customer is created or an online payment is received, with no programming. Included from the Professional plan.

Updated October 4, 2026

What the integration does today

  • CM sends three triggers to Zapier: new customer, payment link paid, online payment received in the shop.
  • Each trigger carries the useful data: customer contact details; payment amount, date, card, invoice, event and customer.
  • From there, Zapier does the rest in your tools: a row in Google Sheets, a Slack message, a contact in your newsletter tool, a task in your project manager.
  • You manage everything from CM: activation, Zapier key, list of active connections and their status.

What flows

New customer CM → Zapier. Name, customer number, email, phone, creation date.
Payment link paid CM → Zapier. Amount, date, gateway, card, invoice, remaining balance, event, customer.
Online payment received CM → Zapier. Same data, plus the shop and the order.
Direction One way: CM emits, Zapier acts. Zapier creates or changes nothing in CM.

What does not flow

  • No incoming action: Zapier cannot create a customer, an event or an order in CM.
  • No trigger yet for events, orders, invoices or proposals.
  • An online payment without a transaction (pay on invoice, payment code) emits nothing.

Plan and cost

Included in the Professional and Enterprise plans. Your Zapier account and plan are yours, under Zapier’s pricing.

Getting started

  1. 01 Create a Zapier account.
  2. 02 In CM, Settings → Integrations → Zapier: enable the integration and generate your Zapier key (shown once).
  3. 03 In Zapier, add Caterer Manager with that key, pick a trigger (New customer, Payment link paid, Online payment received) and the action in your tool.
  4. 04 Test: CM lists the connection with its status (active, pending, failing).

Frequently asked questions

What if Zapier does not respond?

CM retries three times. A Zapier outage never prevents the customer from being created or the payment from being recorded in CM.

Who can manage the integration?

By default, the account owner; the permission can be granted to another role.

Can I revoke access?

Yes: regenerating the key invalidates the old one, and disabling the integration cuts every connection.
